The automated top-cover-and-wrap packaging equipment for ton bags—providing comprehensive film wrapping and overall bag covering—is the final protective step in the storage and transportation of ton bags. With the exception of replacing the film roll, the entire process operates fully automatically. Photoelectric sensors precisely detect the height of the ton bag, while a rotary table and a film-holder lifting mechanism with variable-frequency drive control ensure precise positioning and speed regulation. The number of wrap layers and wrapping cycles can be freely programmed, and the film is severed by thermal melting; the trailing film end is automatically heat-sealed to the product to prevent loosening. The equipment is available in three configurations: pure top-cover wrapping, automatic overall wrapping, and manual wrapping. The automatic overall-wrapping model builds on the top-cover function by adding full-bag wrapping, delivering an even higher level of protection and meeting the stringent safety requirements of industries such as lithium batteries and chemicals.

Carbon steel frame with powder coating, electric rotary turntable, frequency-controlled lifting film holder, pneumatic automatic film loading/unloading mechanism, hot-melt film-cutting module, photoelectric height detection sensor, pre-stretch film holder, control panel, emergency stop switch, and PLC interlock module.
Main Functions
- Automated Protection: Top-over wrapping and full-wrap film application are fully automated, requiring no manual intervention except for film replacement.
- Intelligent sensing: The photoelectric switch automatically detects the height of the ton bag and adjusts the wrapping/film-sleeving stroke accordingly.
- Adjustable parameters: turntable speed, membrane holder lifting speed, and number of winding layers/turns can be freely set.
- High pre-stretch: The film rack can be pre-stretched up to 200%, reducing film consumption and lowering packaging costs.
- Secure film detachment: hot-melt film detachment combined with tail-film welding to prevent winding film from loosening, delivering excellent protective performance;
- Line integration: Automatically triggers the stretch-wrap or sleeve-wrap process upon completion of ton-bag packaging, in coordination with the bagging machine.
- Customized Protection: Available in two options—roof covering or film wrapping—to meet the protective needs of different industries.
